The No. 1 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft didn't get to play all four quarters of his first regular season game. Texans defensive end Jadeveon Clowney injured his leg in the first half against Washington and didn't return because he suffered a torn meniscus, according to multiple reports

Clowney is expected to undergo surgery on Monday and will be out four to six weeks after that, according to NFL.com

Texans coach Bill O'Brien didn't want to speculate about Clowney's condition after the Texans 17-6 win.  "He may miss some time, he may not," O'Brien said. "Who knows? We'll know better as the week goes on."

It's not clear when Clowney suffered the injury against the Redskins, but it happened in the first half. According to the Houston Chronicle, Clowney was hurt on a play where he wasn't rushing. The rookie defensive lineman jumped on a play and came down wrong.

It's been a rough four months for Clowney since the Texans took him with the first overall pick in May. Besides the knee injury he's currently dealing with, Clowney had sports hernia surgery in June.

Clowney also revealed this week that he suffered a concussion in mid-August while the Texans were practicing with the Broncos
