Southern California and Virginia Tech were the biggest winners in the new coaches poll Top 25 released Sunday, while Oregon moved into a virtual tie for third with Oklahoma after beating Michigan State.

The Trojans and Hokies made jumps to Nos. 10 and 19, respectively, though that still left Virginia Tech one spot below the team they just defeated on the road -- Ohio State, which slipped 11 spots from No. 7.

The Spartans fell from 6th to 13th, leaving the Big Ten without a team in the top 10. UCLA also slipped one spot after narrowly edging 24-point underdog Memphis, opening space for Notre Dame to jump four spots to No. 11 after its big win over Michigan.

The Ducks did not move up after beating Michigan State but are a single point behind No. 3 Oklahoma, 1408 to 1407.
