Missouri wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham will not face charges stemming from an incident over the weekend, Columbia police announced Thursday.
Green-Beckham was suspended indefinitely by Missouri on Monday for a violation of team policies. The school would not elaborate on the nature of the violation, but Sgt. Joe Bernhard, of the Columbia Police Department, told the Kansas City Star that Green-Beckham was "part of an ongoing investigation" into a late-night incident at an apartment complex over the weekend.
"Based on the information obtained during the investigation there will be no arrests made in this case," police Spokeswoman Latisha Stoer said Thursday in an official release.
David Morrison, of the Columbia Daily Tribune, obtained the incident report and began sharing its information on Twitter. Details include an alleged forceful entry by Green-Beckham into an apartment and may have prompted the victim's decision not to press charges against the Tigers' star wide receiver.

Missouri did not mention the burglary investigation when Green-Beckham was suspended indefinitely earlier this week, but head coach Gary Pinkel referenced his disappointment with "other issues which have taken place lately."
"It's unfortunate, but it's the right thing to do for our football program, for the athletic department, and also for Dorial," Pinkel said in an official statement. "We have high standards related to the expectations that come along with being a Missouri Tiger & Dorial has not met those recently. Representing Mizzou and our fans is a privilege, and we'll work with him during this process.
"It's been disappointing to have this, and other issues which have taken place lately. It's frustrating, because we work very hard to instill responsibility and discipline in our young men so that our program represents Mizzou the right way. These actions aren't representative of those expectations, and we are addressing these issues head on."
Green-Beckham is the only remaining receiver from the L'Damian Washington-DGB-Marcus Lucas trio that physically dominated opposing secondaries throughout Missouri's memorable run to an SEC East title. Washington and Lucas were seniors in 2013, leaving the 6-foot-6, 220-pound former No. 1 prospect as the target of choice for quarterback Maty Mauk.
Missouri will host its annual Black & Gold spring game on Saturday, April, 19.
