At this point in his career Colorado Avalanche defenseman Brad Stuart does not score many goals, entering play on Friday night with just four since the start of the 2012-13 season.

He added another one to that total in Colorado's 4-1 win over the Chicago Blackhawks, and it was perhaps the easiest goal he will ever score in the NHL because he wasn't even trying to score.

As Stuart hit the center red line, he innocent flipped the puck into the zone so the Avalanche could go for a line change.

That is when this happened.

Oh, Corey Crawford.

That was the type of night it was for both the Avalanche and the Blackhawks. And especially Stuart, who seemed to have everything go his way.

Not only did he get the benefit of Crawford somehow misplaying that puck, he also avoided a penalty earlier in the night when he got away with high-sticking Kris Versteeg on a play that had the Blackhawks forward pleading for a call with his broken tooth.
