The Toronto Marlies played a day game for Family Day in Canada at the home of their NHL parent team, the Toronto Maple Leafs. The AHL club wowed the home crowd with the Air Canada Center’s spectacular on-ice projection production.
Since it was Family Day, it was only fitting that the projection be family friendly. And what is more universally loved by kids of all ages and nostalgic parents than LEGOs? Nothing.
Using the ear-wormy Everything is Awesome song from The LEGO Movie, the Marlies put on a heck of a show for those in attendance.
Yeah, that is awesome. Not awesome, however, is that this song will be stuck in your head for the rest of the day, night, week, month and possibly your life. Sorry.
