Winnipeg Jets defenseman Adam PardyChicago Blackhawks. He went into the corner, just like a defenseman often has to. Then big Blackhawks forward Brandon Bollig delivered a check, like a fourth-line grinder type is supposed to do. Then the pair of them went through the glass.

The glass didn’t break, but landed on the fans in the front row, with a scrum of NHL players on top of it. It probably was not unlike the T-Rex vs. Jeep scene in Jurassic Park, I’d imagine.

However, as Pardy was bent over the glass, a Chicago fan reached over and ripped the helmet right off his head.

Soon after, the triumphant fan placed Pardy’s helmet on his head – Pardy’s sweaty, gross helmet – and gave a few fist pumps to the crowd.

It appeared the newly-helmeted fan’s female companion also dumped beer on Pardy. What a couple.

Pardy did end up getting his lid back and the glass was replaced. No telling what happened to this guy though.

In all seriousness, don't do that, fans. Don't ever do that.
