If the Redskins are ever in the market for a new groundskeeper, they should probably give Clevane Gillespie a call.

Actually, even if the they're not in the market for one, they should still give Gillespie a call because the lifelong Redskins fan knows his way around a lawn.

If you need proof of Gillespie's ability, just look at his yard: The man single-handedly built a lawn shrine for the Redskins.

The landscaper first got the idea for the shrine in 2009 and he's been adding to it ever since.

"Each year, I make it more unique," Gillespie told CSN Washington this week. "First it started flat. Then each year, I raised it by a foot. Then I put it on a slant. And then I asked myself, 'Let me see if I can do it in 3-D.'"

You can see a picture of the $1,000 3-D version below (via the Redskins official website).

Keeping a giant lawn shrine intact isn't easy, even for a longtime landscaper like Gillespie.

"My routine is that I wake up around 6 in the morning, and sometimes, I work until 9 at night, if you can believe that," Gillespie said. "I love to design."

Gillespie put in more effort last year than the entire Redskins offensive line. ZING.

"Sometimes I look at [my yard]," Gillespie said. "and it brings me tears."

Speaking of tears, the landscaper doesn't plan on shedding any for the Redskins this year because he actually thinks they're going to be good.

"I believe we can win 10 games," Gillespie said. "I believe RG3 is going to have a coming out season, too. I really believe we'll win 10 games."
