They say you find out more about someone when the camera is turned off. Apparently one NFL team was interested in finding out what Jameis Winston's like when no one's looking and sent a scout on Winston's plane to the combine to watch the quarterback.

Winston's QB coach George Whitfield told Charles Robinson of Yahoo! Sports that Winston was "secretly shadowed" during one of his combine flights.

No word on whether he was being watched on the way to the combine or the way out of the combine. Personally I'd shadow him after the combine just because he'd be less likely to suspect it. Either way, it'd be a fascinating little experiment.

Also if we're gonna guess on what team it was, it had to be the Buccaneers right? There's no point in someone else spending the resources on that.

See how Jameis interacts with people in that setting. Check how he treats airline staff, etc. You learn a lot about a human that way.

Even if you learn even more about the NFL -- that scouting is oftentimes an exercise is clandestine creepiness.

Teams are creeping on Jameis. (USATSI)
