Buccaneers fans can breathe easy. Josh McCown found a way to secure them their choice of franchise quarterback in the 2015 NFL Draft as Tampa Bay locked up the No. 1 overall pick with a loss to the Saints on Sunday.

Tampa was leading the Saints for much of the game, and with the Titans losing to the Colts, the Bucs were threatening to fall to No. 2. With Tennessee hurting at quarterback, it could mean the Titans no longer have a choice between Marcus Mariota and Jameis Winston, should the Bucs choose to go the quarterback route, as our NFL Draft experts anticipate.

One would think the Bucs will take one of them. The coaching staff and front office has shown tepid support for Mike Glennon, and McCown isn't the long-term answer.

Winston, the 2013 Heisman Trophy-winner who has off-field concerns, would be a curious fit on a Lovie Smith-led roster. (In fairness: Winston is also very good at football, which is why we're here.)

Mariota, the current Heisman-winner, is a concern because of the system he plays in, but he's a strong, mobile athlete with a gun for an arm.

Cue up the silly season.
