Does Bengals running back Jeremy Hill know he lost on Thursday? Because it sure doesn't sound like it.

The Week 9 breakout back who struggled against Cleveland's rush defense on Thursday saw it fit after the game to talk smack about the Browns, which seems fairly reasonable.

"Oh no, not at all," Hill said when asked if the Browns were better than he thought. "They're probably worse than I thought, to be honest with you."

Um ...

Hill continued delusionally ripping the Browns

"They didn't do anything special to me," Hill said. "I mean, respect to them, they won the game. But that's all I'll give them."

About that ...

It's OK to say "we played terrible" and Hill did that as well, but come on, man.

"Those guys, they're not that good," Hill said. "It was on us [Thursday]. We gave them the game, in my opinion. They didn't do anything special. We just gave them the game. They just sat back with coverage the whole day."

Again: THAT'S FAIR. The Bengals were hyper-miserable on Thursday. Historically awful, even.

Cleveland strolled into their house, took everything they own, and set their dignity on fire with one of those slow-motion, over-the-shoulder lighter tosses on the way out the door.

You got punched in the mouth. Don't get mad because it hurts.
