The NFL's final cuts deadline is Saturday, August 30 at 4 p.m. ET. Check back here for the latest roster moves and our team-by-team analysis.

AFC East

 Jets

Cuts to get to 53: RB Daryl Richardson, LB A.J. Edds, CB Johnny Patrick, WR Stephen Hill, TE Chris Pantale, DL Zach Thompson, RB Alex Green, QB Tajh Boyd, DT Tevita Finau, S Rontez Miles, CB Dimitri Patterson, OL Brent Qvale, G William Campbell, LB Troy Davis, CB Brandon Dixon, WR Clyde Gates, DL Kerry Hyder, LB Garrett McIntyre, CB Jeremy Reeves, G Caleb Schlauderaff, QB Matt Simms, DL Zach Thompson

Our thoughts: Hill, the team's 2012 second-round pick, had a disappointing career in New York. Cornerback Dimitri Patterson had an AWOL moment this preseason that surely didn't help his chances of sticking in what is a depleted secondary.

Dolphins

Cuts to get to 53: RB Daniel Thomas, RB/KR Marcus Thigpen, WR Matt Hazel, OG David Arkin, OL Sam Brenner, T Tony Hills, OL Evan Finkenberg, DT Isaako Aaitui, WR Kevin Cone, CB Kevin Fogg, S Jordan Kovacs, QB Seth Lobato, TE Kyle Miller, DE Tevin Mims, DE D’Aundre Reed, K Jake Rogers, DT Garrison Smith, LB Andrew Wilson, TE Evan Wilson

Our thoughts: The addition of Knowshon Moreno made Daniel Thomas expendable. The 2011 second-round pick ran for at least 325 yards in each of his three seasons with the Dolphins.

Bills

Cuts to get to 53: LB Xavius Boyd, DT Landon Cohen, TE Dominique Jones, CB Kamaal McIlwain, CB Sam Miller, P Brian Moorman, QB Jordan Palmer, FB Evan Rodriguez, WR Naaman Roosevelt, C Jared Wheeler, WR T.J. Graham, QB Jeff Tuel, S Deon Broomfield, LB Jimmy Gaines, WR Caleb Holley, DE Ikponmwosa Igbinosun, DE Bryan Johnson, S Kenny Ladler, C Doug Legursky, G Antoine McClain

Our thoughts: The biggest surprise here is the release of punter Brian Moorman. Except for a brief stop in Dallas in 2012, the veteran punter had been in Buffalo since 2001. The Jordan Palmer experiment lasted for less than a week. It looks like Jay Cutler doesn't have to worry about Palmer spilling all of the Bears' offensive secrets to the Bills.

Patriots

Cuts to get to 53: OL Jon Halapio, WR Josh Boyce, RB Jonas Gray, DE Jake Bequette, TE Steve Maneri, LB Steve Beauharnais, DE Jerel Worthy, WR Jeremy Gallon, RB Roy Finch, LS Danny Aiken, DL Jake Bequette, OL Braxston Cave, LB Ja’Gared Davis, S Kanorris Davis, DB Daxton Swanson, S Shamiel Gary, DL Eathyn Manumaleuna, OL Chris Martin, LB Taylor McCuller, DL L.T. Tuipulotu.

Our thoughts: Boyce, a 2013 fourth-round pick, struggled to stay healthy during his short tenure in New England.

AFC North

Ravens

Cuts to get to 53: DT Levi Brown, DT Derrick Hopkins, TE Nathan Overbay  LB D.J. Roberts, C Reggie Stephens, OL A.Q. Shipley, OG Ryan Jensen, RB Fitz Toussaint, DB Sammy Seamster, CB Tramain Jacobs, DT A.J. Pataiali'i, QB Keith Wenning, LB John Simon, CB Dominique Franks, CB Derek Cox, OT Parker Graham, DT Jamie Meder, TE Phillip Supernaw, QB Keith Wenning

Our thoughts: The Ravens used a 2014 sixth-round pick on Wenning but he didn't show enough to displace backup Tyrod Taylor.

Bengals

Cuts to get to 53: RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis, QB Tyler Wilson, LB Brandon Joiner, DT Larry Black, DT LaKendrick Ross, C Trevor Robinson, DT Devin Still, TE/FB Orson Charles, S Danieal Manning, OT Will Svitek, WR Colin Lockett, DT David King, CB Onterio McCalebb, CB Lavelle Westbrooks, OT Dan France, WR Cobi Hamilton. QB AJ McCarron placed on Reserve/Non-Football Injury list.

Our thoughts: The "Law Firm" is out in Cincinnati. It was largely expected: with Giovani Bernard and Jeremy Hill in the backfield, the grinding Green-Ellis wasn't going to be a factor this year.

Browns

Cuts to get to 53: RB Dion Lewis, LB Justin Staples, WR Nate Burleson, RB Chris Ogbonnaya, CB Leon McFadden, QB Connor Shaw, DB Josh Aubrey, DL Calvin Barnett, DL Jacobbi McDaniel, DL Justin Staples, OL Reid Fragel, OL Garrett Gilkey, OL Donald Hawkins, OL Alex Parsons, OL Abasi Salimu, TE/FB MarQueis Gray, TE Emmanuel Ogbuehi, WR Willie Snead.

Our thoughts: Burleson lasted just four months in Cleveland.

Steelers

Cuts to get to 53: TE Rob Blanchflower, TE Bryce Davis, TE David Paulson, DB Isaiah Green, Dayonne Nunley, DB Shaquille Richardson, DB Ross Ventrone, RB Josh Harris, RB Stephen Houston, DL Ethan Hemer, DL Josh Mauro, DL Roy Philon, DL Nick Williams, LB Chris Carter, LB Howard Jones, LB Dan Molls, QB Brendon Kay, WR Derek Moye, WR Lanear Sampson, OL Graham Pocic, OL Will Simmons, OL Guy Whimper

Our thoughts: Going into training camp, you probably could have predicted the Steelers' 53-man roster. There were no surprises when the Steelers announced their final cuts on Saturday.

AFC South

Texans

Cuts to get to 53: S Jawanza Sterling, TE Zach Potter, CB Brandon Harris, DL Ricardo Mathews, LB Max Bullough, CB Marcus Williams, DE Julius Warmsley, DE Keith Browner, OLB Chris McAllister, LB Chris Young, WR Uzoma Nwachukwu, WR Lacoltan Bester, G Alex Kupper, C James Ferentz, TE Anthony Denham, G Bronson Irwin, T Matt Feiler

Colts

Cuts to get to 53:  DE Gannon Conway, RB David Fluellen, QB Chandler Harnish, DE Tyler Hoover, OLB Phillip Hunt, ILB Andrew Jackson, WR Ryan Lankford, WR Josh Lenz, C FN Lutz, S Dewey McDonald, DT Nnamdi Obukwelu, CB Sheldon Price, ILB Rob Ruggiero, TE Weslye Saunders, ILB Kelvin Sheppard, TE Erik Swoope, G Josh Walker, Brandon McKinney, T Matt Hill, S Delano Howell

Our thoughts: Linebacker Kelvin Sheppard played in 15 games for the Colts last season, starting in seven. Sort of a surprise move given how much time he spent with the first and second teams this preseason. More via SB Nation's Stampede Blue Colts site

Jaguars

Cuts to get to 53: C Mike Brewster, QB Ricky Stanzi, QB Stephen Morris, G Drew Nowak, DE Gerald Rivers, WR Chad Bumphis, FB Eric Kettani, OT Cody Booth, DL DeAndre Coleman, DT Ricky Havili-Heimuli, S Craig Loston, K/P Kasey Redfern, G Tyler Shatley, TE D.J. Tialavea, S Sherrod Martin, WR Kerry Taylor, CB Jamell Fleming, LB Nate Stupar and LB Marcus Whitfield. Injury settlement with DE David Carter.

Our thoughts: With Redfern getting the boot, that means Josh Scobee is healthy, which is good news for Jags fans. Scobee injured his quad during the preseason and there was concern in Jacksonville that he might not be ready for Week 1.

Titans

Cuts to get to 53: OL Justin McCray, OL Jeff Adams, DL Marcus Dixon, FB Collin Mooney, WR Marc Mariani, DL Chigbo Anunoby, K Maikon Bonani, CB Tommie Campbell, LB Moise Fokou, TE Chase Coffman, CB Ri’Shard Anderson, OL Eric Olsen, QB Dominique Davis, TE Jason Schepler, RB Antonio Andrews, LB Brandon Copeland,  T William Poehls, WR Rico Richardson, WR Brian Robiskie, CB Winston Wright

Our thoughts: With Bonani out, it looks like the Titans are going with undrafted rookie Travis Coons to replace departed kicker Rob Bironas.

AFC West

Broncos

Cuts to get to 53: LB L.J. Fort, DT Sione Fua, TE Jameson Konz, OL Ryan Miller, TE Cameron Morrah, DB Jerome Murphy, DB Jordan Sullen, DT Kevin Vickerson, SS Duke Ihenacho, S John Boyett, LB Shaq Barrett, QB Zac Dysert, DL Brian Sanford, RB Kapri Bibbs, WR Bennie Fowler, OL Vinston Painter, WR Nathan Palmer, OL Matt Paradis, TE Gerell Robinson, CB Louis Young

Our thoughts: Ihenacho started 18 games last season but he was a liability in coverage. T.J. Ward is now the starter, and Ihenacho lost a camp battle to Quinton Carter. Fua might be the biggest surprise so far though. The 2011 third-round pick signed with the Broncos in November after two and a half seasons in Carolina.

Chiefs

Cuts to get to 53: K Ryan Succop, OT J'Marcus Webb, S Jonathon Amaya, S Malcolm Bronson, FB Jordan Campbell, DL Dominique Hamilton, WR Mark Harrison, G Ricky Henry, LB Alonzo Highsmith, LB Nico Johnson, DT Kyle Love, CB Justin Rogers, DL Kona Schwenke, CB DeMarcus Van Dyke, LB Devan Walker, RB Charcandrick West, WR Fred Williams

Our thoughts: Ryan Succop, the team's starter for the past five seasons was cut to make room for the much cheaper Cairo Santos, a rookie.

Raiders

Cuts to get to 53: K Giorgio Tavecchio, WR Greg Little, RB George Atkinson, DE Denico Autry, CB Chance Casey, OL Jack Cornell, DE Jack Crawford, LB Carlos Fields, LB Bojay Filimoeatu, LB Spencer Hadley, OL Dan Kistler, OL Erle Ladson, DT Ricky Lumpkin, OL Lamar Mady, TE Jake Murphy, WRSeth Roberts, DE Ryan Robinson, S Brandian Ross, OL Jarrod Shaw, TE Scott Simonson, RB Jeremy Stewart, FB Karl Williams

Our thoughts: The cut of Tavecchio means the Raiders are confident about Sebastian Janikowski's health heading into Week 1. Janikowski has been dealing with a quad injury that caused him to miss the Raiders' final two preseason games.

Chargers

Cuts to get to 53: WR Vincent Brown, LB Victor Aiyewa, DT Chas Alecxih, WR Torrence Allen, CB Crezdon Butler, S Alden Darby, CB Greg Ducre, TE Michael Flacco, T Mike Harris, WR Javontee Herndon, OLB Thomas Keiser, DL Joe Kruger, OLB Cordarro Law, S Adrian Phillips, WR Tevin Reese, T Jeremiah Sirles, QB Brad Sorensen, OLB Colton Underwood, G Craig Watts, T Kenny Wiggins, C Khalil Wilkes, DL Doug Worthington

Our thoughts: Yes, Mike Flacco is Joe Flacco's brother. Vincent Brown had a productive 2012, and was expected to be one of the team's go-to wideouts for years to come, but has struggled and battled injuries recently.

NFC East

 Giants

Cuts to get to 53: DT Kelcy Quarles, QB Curtis Painter, FB John Conner, TE Kellen Davis, DE Israel Idonije, CB Bennett Jackson, OT Rogers Gaines, RB Michael Cox, WR Julian Talley, RB Kendall Gaskins, OT Mark Asper, OT Adam Gress, G Jamaal Johnson-Webb, LB Terrell Manning, LB Dan Fox, DB Chandler Fenner, DB Thomas Gordon, DT Kelcy Quarles, DE Jordan Stanton

Our thoughts: There was speculation earlier this preseason that Painter might beat out second-year quarterback Ryan Nassib. Veteran Kellen Davis was released, which was a bit of a surprise after being brought in from Seattle this past offseason.

Cowboys

Cuts to get to 53: CB Terrance Mitchell, RB D.J. Adams, T Josh Aladenoye,, DE Kenneth Boatright, DT Dartwan Bush, WR LaRon Byrd, G Stephen Goodin, WR Jamar Newsome, C Ronald Patrick, DE Caesar Rayford, LB Dontavis Sapp, LB Keith Smith, S Ryan Smith, LB Will Smith, RB Phillip Tanner, TE Asa Watson, RB Ryan Williams, LB Orie Lemon, DT Zach Minter

Our thoughts: The Cowboys backfield won't include Tanner in 2014, who rushed for 149 yards in three seasons with the team.

Redskins

Cuts to get to 53: TE Ted Bolser, CB Richard Crawford, S Da’Mon Cromartie-Smith, WR Lee Doss, OL Kevin Kowalski, P Robert Malone, OL Tevita Stevens, NT Robert Thomas, S Phillip Thomas, K Zach Hocker, CB Chase Minnifield, WR Nick Williams, OLB Everette Brown, RB Lache Seastrunk, RB Chris Thompson and RB Evan Royster.

Our thoughts: Seastrunk gave the Redskins something they were in desperate need of: blazing speed out of the backfield. But an uneven preseason led to the 2014 sixth-rounder getting cut.

Eagles

Cuts to get to 53: RB Henry Josey, WR Damaris Johnson, LB Emmanuel Acho, OG Josh Andrews, CB Roc Carmichael, OT Kevin Graf, S Keelan Johnson, LB Josh Kaddu, DT Wade Keliikipi, WR Will Murphy, S Ed Reynolds, DT Damion Square, K Alex Henery, RB Matthew Tucker, WR Ifeanyi Momah, WR Quron Pratt, QB G.J. Kinne, CB Curtis Marsh, RB Kenjon Barner

Our thoughts: Perhaps the most interesting name is the one that made the final 53: running back Chris Polk, who missed much of training camp with a hamstring injury.

NFC North

Bears

Cuts to get to 53: WR Armanti Edwards, OL Eben Britton, WR Chris Williams, LB Devekeyan Lattimore, OL Taylor Boggs, OL Ryan Groy, WR Dale Moss, DL Lee Pegues, LB Jerry Franklin, S Marcus Trice, OL Dennis Roland, OL Rob Turner, CB C.J. Wilson, CB Kelvin Hayden; CB Al Louis-Jean, RB Jordan Lynch, TE Jeron Mastrud, WR Josh Bellamy, DT Brandon Dunn, DT Tracy Robertson, DE Austen Lane, S M.D. Jennings

Our thoughts: Edwards was one of the more notorious names acquired by ex-Panthers GM Marty Hurney and he's panned out to be a massive bust. The Bears also cut former Northern Illinois quarterback Jordan Lynch, who was trying to make the move to running back.

Lions

Cuts to get to 53: RB Mikel Leshoure, DE Darryl Tapp, OG Garrett Reynolds, WR Kris Durham, RB George Winn, TE Michael Egnew, OL Rodney Austin, RB Emil Igwenagu, WR Andrew Peacock, WR Pat Edwards, TE Jordan Thompson, OL Michael Williams, OL Darren Keyton, DE Andre Fluellen, DL Jimmy Saddler-McQueen, DL Xavier Proctor, LB Brandon Hepburn, LB Julian Stanford, LB Shamari Benton, CB Mohammed Seisay, CB Chris Greenwood, S Nate Ness

Our thoughts: Just 24, Leshoure, the Lions' 2011 second-round pick, played in just three games last season.

Packers

Cuts to get to 53: CB Ryan White, S Chris Banjo, WR Myles White, WR Kevin Dorsey, LB Jake Doughty, T John Fullington, C Garth Gerhart, WR Alex Gillett, DT Carlos Gray, RB Michael Hill, LB Adrian Hubbard, G Jordan McCray, S Tanner Miller, TE Justin Perillo, RB LaDarius Perkins, DE Luther Robinson, CB Jumal Rolle, T Jeremy Vujnovich

Our thoughts: The biggest news out of Green Bay may have been the team's decision to keep three quarterbacks. We felt like Aaron Rodgers had a good shot, but behind him it was unclear who Green Bay would keep. For now, it seems they're keeping both Scott Tolzien and Matt Flynn.

Vikings

Cuts to get to 53: DT Fred Evans, RB Joe Banyard, RB Dominique Williams, LB Mike Zimmer, G Jeff Baca, DT Chase Baker, S Kurt Coleman, WR Kain Colter, DT Isame Faciane, S Chris Crocker, WR Donte Foster, TE Chase Ford, CB Kendall James, LB Justin Jackson, C Zac Kerin, CB Julian Posey, TE Allen Reisner, OL Mike Remmers, DE Justin Trattou

Our thoughts: It's somewhat surprising to see Reisner on this list. The 25-year-old tight end had a pretty strong preseason, leading the Vikings with three touchdown catches. Also, Christian Ponder still has a job. There's a good chance Minnesota kept Ponder around to use as possible trade bait sometime this season.

NFC South

Falcons

Cuts to get to 53: DE Nosa Eguae, FB Maurice Hagens, CB Jordan Mabin, WR Freddie Martino, S Kimario McFadden, TE Jacob Pedersen, OL Adam Replogle, DT Donte Rumph, LB Yawin Smallwood, LB Pat Angerer, OT Pat McQuistan, RB Josh Vaughan, WR Jeremy Ebert, CB Ricardo Allen, LB Jacques Smith, WR Geraldo Boldewijn, S Sean Baker, G Harland Gunn, OT Terren Jones, WR Bernard Reedy, DT Travian Robertson, TE Mickey Shuler

Our thoughts: Angerer, who tweeted the news, is kind of a surprise given the Falcons loss of Sean Weatherspoon earlier in the offseason.  Allen, you may recall from Hard Knocks, is deathly afraid of heights, and Smith was shown in the show's first episode mixing it up with veteran offensive linemen.

Saints

Cuts to get to 53: CB Champ Bailey, OLB Keyunta Dawson, K Shayne Graham, FB Greg Jones, WR Robert Meachem T Thomas Welch, C Matt Armstrong, CB Derrius Brooks, WR Brandon Coleman, ILB Todd Davis, K Derek Dimke, CB Terrence Frederick, WR Charles Hawkins, TE Nic Jacobs, G Marcel Jones, WR Seantavius Jones, T Tavon Rooks, RB Derrick Strozier, NT Lawrence Virgil, CB Trevin Wade, S Pierre Warren, T/G Jason Weaver

Our thoughts: Champ Bailey's cut isn't a complete surprise, but it could mean the 36-year-old's career is over if he can't find a team to latch onto. He'll be a first-ballot Hall of Famer. Also gone is Robert Meachem, which isn't much of a surprise considering the emergence of second-year WR Kenny Stills and that the team drafted Brandin Cooks this past May.

Buccaneers

Cuts to get to 53: DB Anthony Gaitor, DE Larry English, OT Edawn Coughman, OL Jeremiah Warren, OL Andrew Miller, DE T.J. Fatinikun, LB Ka'Lial Glaud, FB Lonnie Pryor, CB Keith Lewis, DB Marc Anthony, K Connor Barth, RB/KR Jeff Demps, QB Mike Kafka, DT Matthew Masifilo, S Major Wright, TE Cameron Brate, LB Brandon Magee, WR Solomon Patton, DT Ronald Talley

Our thoughts: English is the former first-round pick of the Chargers who was previously cut and has officially hit "bust" status.

Panthers

Cuts to get to 53: WR Tavarres King, CB James Dockery, LB Denicos Allen, DT Casey Walker, OL David Foucault, OL Andrew McDonald, OL Chris Scott, CB Carrington Byndom, G Derek Dennis, LB Adarius Glanton, S Robert Lester, WR Marcus Lucas, S Tom Nelson, DT Drake Nevis, RB Darrin Reaves, DT Micanor Regis, LB D.J. Smith, CB Josh Thomas, FB Michael Zordich

Our thoughts: With the release of Tavarres King, not a single wide receiver from 2013 is on the Panthers roster. That, my friends, is a complete overhaul. Good luck, Cam.

NFC West

Cardinals

Cuts to get to 53: RB Zach Bauman, LB Marcus Benard, OL Philip Blake, LB Jonathan Brown, WR Dan Buckner, OL John Estes, DT Bruce Gaston, WR Brittan Golden, TE Andre Hardy, CB Jimmy Legree, CB Bryan McCann, OL Kelvin Palmer, RB Jalen Parmele, DT Isaac Sopoaga, OL Anthony Steen, S Curtis Taylor, LB Adrian Tracy, DT Christian Tupou, S Anthony Walters, CB Teddy Williams

49ers

Cuts to get to 53: WR Lance Lewis, CB Darryl Morris, G Al Netter, DL Lawrence Okoye, T Michael Philipp, NT Mike Purcell, RB Alfonso Smith, S C.J. Spillman, LB Chase Thomas, S Bubba Ventrone, WR L’Damian Washington, RB Glenn Winston, OT Carter Bykowski, TE Asante Cleveland, LB Shayne Skov, WR Kassim Osgood, S C.J. Spillman, LS Kevin McDermott, OL Ryan Seymour, OL Adam Snyder

Our thoughts: The biggest surprise here is probably the release Adam Snyder. It doesn't look like the 49ers are going to work anything out with guard Alex Boone any time soon and Snyder would have provided some much needed depth.

Seahawks

Cuts to get to 53: QB Terrelle Pryor, CB Phillip Adams, RT Eric Winston, DE Benson Mayowa, WR Bryan Walters, TE RaShaun Allen, CB Akeem Auguste, RB Demitrius Bronson, WR Arceto Clark, QB B.J. Daniels, G Caylin Hauptmann, T Nate Isles, C Patrick Lewis, WR Chris Matthews, S Terrance Parks, TE Morrell Presley, DT Andru Pulu, FB Kiero Small, DT Jimmy Staten, S Steven Terrell, LB Korey Toomer, RB Spencer Ware

Our thoughts: The Seahawks have made the decision to only go with two quarterbacks this season in Russell Wilson and Tarvaris Jackson.

Rams

Cuts to get to 53: DE Michael Sam, WR Emory Blake, G Travis Bond, DE Kourtnei Brown, S Christian Bryant, DT Matt Conrath, S Avery Cunningham, WR Austin Franklin, QB Garrett Gilbert, DT Deantre Harlan, LB Aaron Hill, T Sean Hooey, DB Greg Reid, LB Etienne Sabino, TE Brad Smelley, LB Phillip Steward, T Mitchell Van Dyk, WR Justin Veltung, OL Brandon Washington, LB Lawrence Wilson, CB Darren Woodard

Our thoughts: The Rams released Michael Sam, who is trying to become the first openly gay player to play in a regular season game. There's a good chance he could still land on the team's practice squad if he hasn't been claimed by another team, CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora reports.
