When everything finally shook out in the Darrelle Revis Drama of 2014 (buy your tickets for 2015 now!), Revis was dressed in a Patriots uniform and primed to ramp up New England's defense on a one-year, $12 million deal.

The added bonus of Revis' new deal? He doesn't have to face off against Tom Brady anymore, something that has the cornerback "relieved."

"I’m very relieved," Revis said Monday. "I think the feeling is mutual for me and Tom. I feel like he’s the best quarterback I’ve ever faced. We’ll still compete in practice, but I know on Sundays we’ll be on the same side, wearing the same jersey."

It's a massive boost for the Patriots that Revis is on their defense, but the opportunity cost of losing him should be noted too. He could've ended up on the Broncos (bad for the Pats) or even the Jets (VERY bad, once again, for the Pats).

Instead the only time Brady will have to worry about Revis this year is in practice. Which should only serve to make one of the all-time greats even better.
