Michigan State might be whopping 17-point home favorites against Michigan on Saturday, but no matter: it's Michigan, and rest assured the Spartan faithful will be plenty fired up however likely victory might be.

One Spartan fan, in fact, was fired up enough to vandalize the landmark "M" on Michigan's campus 'Diag' sometime in the early hours of Wednesday morning, the Michigan Daily reported. Via the Twitter account of Daily reporter Alejandro Zuniga, here's that "M" painted Michigan State green, complete with spray-painted "S" and "U" just in case you couldn't quite figure out the motivation:

Good old-fashioned rivalry week hijinks or an unacceptable property-damage prank? That might be in the eye of the beholder, but we'll leave the last word to this bit of smack coming from a parody Twitter account for Michigan's undergrad library (and yes, Michigan's undergrad library has its own parody Twitter account):
