Authorities found more than 100 grams of marijuana and thousands of dollars in cash during a search of an Alabama football player's dorm room, according to AL.com's review of a court filing on Monday.

Agents from the West Alabama Narcotics Task Force searched the dorm room of sophomore tight end Kurt Freitag last week on a tip and found 112 grams of marijuana and $4,661 in cash. According to AL.com, the court documents did not indicate that Freitag was charged with any crime.

They confronted Freitag and read him his Miranda rights, according to the complaint, and he gave agents permission to search his Bryant Hall dorm room, where they found 112 grams of marijuana and $4,661 in cash.

The agents seized the drugs and the money, but if Freitag was charged with any crime, it is not reflected in court records.

AL.com reported that there was no official comment from Alabama, the task force or the Tuscaloosa Police Department at this time.

Freitag played in two games in 2013, recording one catch for 11 yards. The 6-4, 255-pound Buford, Ga. native was a four-star prospect coming out of high school and the only tight end in Alabama's 2012 signing class.
