Indiana's Devin Davis was cited Monday by campus police for possession of marijuana.

He's been suspended from all team-related activities.

Davis, a 6-foot-7 forward, missed all of last season after teammate Emmitt Holt accidentally struck him with a car on Nov. 1. According to police, Davis had been drinking on that night and jumped in front of Holt's vehicle, meaning Davis was mostly to blame for the accident.

The Indianapolis native averaged 8.8 minutes per game in the 2013-14 season.

Campus police responded to a call Monday night complaining about an odor of marijuana coming from an open second-floor window of a dormitory. According to the Indianapolis Star, police found a small bag of marijuana in a backpack that belongs to Davis. IU teammate Hanner Mosquera-Perea was in the room with Davis but was not cited like Davis.

"Mosquera-Perea's role, if any, will also be reviewed as part of this matter," school officials said via a statement released Tuesday afternoon.
