Before it hosts the Final Four next season, AT&T Stadium -- formerly Cowboys Stadium -- will entertain the biggest program in college basketball.

Kentucky will play Baylor on Dec. 6 as part of the Big 12/SEC Challenge. Tuesday brought news the game would be played at 10 p.m. ET/9 p.m. local and will be broadcast on ESPN. This also continues an ongoing UK-Baylor series of sorts; the programs have played each other in the regular season or postseason season since the 2011-12 campaign.

Kentucky beat Baylor in the 2012 Elite Eight, 82-70. Baylor won at Rupp Arena last season, 64-55, giving UK its first loss at home under John Calipari. UK leads the all-time series 7-1. The game at AT&T will be a doubleheader; the women's team for each program will serve as the undercard.

As for the rest of the Big 12/SEC Challenge, here's the schedule.

The Challenge is low on big-time matchups. Outside of Kentucky-Baylor, the only other games offering likely NCAA tournament teams is Ole Miss-Kansas State and Kansas-Florida. That Gators-Jayhawks matchup will be a really nice one, too. The Andrew Wiggins tour will be in full effect, and there's a chance KU could be the No. 1 team in the country, should it win big in November and get to that Dec. 10 tilt with one loss or less.
