Philadelphia 76ers big man Jahlil Okafor was allegedly involved in a street fight late Wednesday night after his team's loss to the Boston Celtics, but there are no plans for a criminal investigation on the incident, according to Boston police.

From the Associated Press:

Officer James Kenneally said Friday that police responded to reports of a fight outside the nightclub hours after the winless Sixers lost to the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night. But Kenneally says the participants were gone by the time officers arrived and nobody was arrested or charged.

ESPN's Jeff Goodman quoted a source close to Okafor saying, "Apparently, they said: 'The 76ers suck and you guys are all losers. You'll never win a game.'"

TMZ published video of the scuffle on Thursday:

"We are aware of the report and video and are in the process of gathering more information," NBA executive vice president Mike Bass. A Sixers spokesman said they, too, are aware of the report, are gathering information and have no further comment.

Philadelphia is 0-16 on the season and will face the Houston Rockets on Friday.
