Nick Young wants to play for the Australian national team. That's what he tweeted, anyway. It's impossible to know if the Los Angeles Lakers guard, who is engaged to Aussie rapper Iggy Azalea, is even a little bit serious, but here's what he said:
Can I play for the Australia Olympic team

The maybe-future Boomer called himself "Swaggy DunDee," in response to a tweet from Basketball Australia, and Golden State Warriors center Andrew Bogut chimed in, too. Bogut, who has been representing his country this offseason, apparently approves of adding the gunner to the roster:
Yes and Iggy can rap the anthem....... #cantwait

I'm not as sure as Bogut that Azalea rapping the Australian anthem is a great idea, but if that's what it takes to get Young involved in international competition, I'm all for it. How great does "Bogey, Delly and Swaggy" sound? Let's get weird, Australia.
