Earlier this year, the Braves announced they are moving out of Turner Field and into a new state of the art ballpark a little further north in Cobb County. SunTrust Park is set to open in 2017.
Over the last few weeks the team has been releasing renderings of the new ballpark and the area around the stadium. Here's one really good one:
Looks like a great ballpark. Same with the development around the park. Looks like there will be lots to do and plenty of stores to visit before and after games in the immediate area.
There's just one small problem with this rendering. The Braves are losing to the Nationals. Let's zoom in on that big center field scoreboard:
Oh yeah, the Braves are definitely losing 6-3 to the Nationals in the rendering of their own new park. They've committed an error too.
Amazing.
