Down yonder in college baseball, we've still got roughly a month of regular season play to go plus conference tournaments. However, it's not too early to start projecting the field of 64 for the NCAA Tournament regionals, and Kendall Rogers of Perfect Game has come out with his latest bracket.

One particularly highlight? Right now, the SEC, according to Rogers, figures to land 11 teams in the regionals. Yes: Eleven, or 78.6 percent of the conference. The lone holdouts are Auburn, Texas A&M and Missouri. As well, Rogers tabs five SEC teams -- South Carolina, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi and LSU -- as regional hosts.

In Baseball America's most recent bracket forecast, dated April 6, they had "merely" 10 SEC teams in the tournament. However, since then Georgia has notched a high-quality road win over Clemson, which might be a factor in landing them in Rogers's bracket.

In conclusion, the SEC this season is good at baseball-related tasks and duties.
