I've watched this a couple of times now and it still seems like a joke. I don't care if the hole was a straight drop off a cliff, 436 yards off the tee is 436 yards off the tee.

McIlroy shot a 7-under 64 on Thursday at the Scottish Open and this drive on the 13th hole, a 436-yard par 4, certainly didn't hurt. He actually drives it into the group ahead of his.

McIlroy then added a pretty spectacular line:

He went on to make birdie (I would hope he did) and followed that up with another birdie at No. 14 to get to his final tally of 7 under.

The drive was impressive, for sure, but that 64 was something special.

McIlroy is playing the Scottish Open for the first time since 2009.
